Dr. Rajeev Pratap Singh is currently working as Assistant Professor at Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development, Banaras Hindu University, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Botany from same University. He is having more than seven years of experience in the field of R&D on various field including Waste Management, Sustainable Agriculture, Air Pollution etc. He also worked as Council of Scientific and Industrial Research Senior Research Fellow (CSIR-SRF) in Banaras Hindu University, and IIT Delhi, Post Doctoral Fellow, and Visiting Researcher at School of Industrial Technology, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia. He has published 31 research articles in national and international journals, 6 book chapters, 2 books and 6 conference proceedings contributed as author/co-author. He successfully completed 2 research projects funded by University Grants Commission, New Delhi, and Department of Science and Technology (DST). He is also serving as member of editorial board in journals. He also guided 1 M.Phil dissertation. He was received Net Scopus Young Scientist award-2012, 1st Runner Up in area of Sustainable Consumption and Production. He also attended 14 conferences, seminars and workshops. He is life member of International Society of Tropical Ecology, B.H. U., Varanasi, International Society of Environmental Botanists, N.B.R.I., Lucknow, Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological and Environmental Engineering Society (APCBEES), Hongkok, Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), Kolkata, India, Prof. H. S. Srivastava Foundation for Science and Society, Lucknow, and Indian Society of Chemists and Biologists, CDRI, Lucknow. His area of research interest related to Waste Management, Sustainable Agriculture, Heavy Metal Toxicity, Phytoremediation, and Ecotoxicology etc.
