Biography

Dr. Shams Tabrez is currently working as Assistant Professor at King Fahd Medical Research Center King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Science from same University. He is also working on 5 funded research projects. He has published 2 book and book chapter, 59 research articles in journals, 9 abstracts, posters and presentations. He also participated in 4 national and international conferences. Dr. Shams received honor includes performed peer review for two different project from Italian Ministry of Health, Italy for the year 2015 [Similar to NIH grants, USA), presently serving as an editorial member of the journal Phmacognosy Magazine, Served as a Member of Scientific Programme Committee of GeNeDis 2014 organized by the Department of Informatics, Ionian University, Corfu Greece, Europe, Performed peer reviewing for various journals like Chemosphere, Toxicology, Toxicology Letters, Science of the Total Environment, Journal of Hazardous Materials, British Journal of Nutrition, Lipids, BMC Genomics, Biotechnology and Applied Biochemistry, Amino acids and many more. recipient of Senior research Fellowship (2009-2010) from India Council of Medical Research, New Delhi, India, Recipient, U.G.C, PhD Fellowship (2005-2008) Department of Biochemistry, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India, and Nominee, an Interaction with Noble Laureates and Eminent Scientists at Science Conclave, held at Allahabad, India.
