Dr. Veerasamy Sejian is currently working as Research Scientist at Animal Physiology Division, National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology, Adugodi, Bangalore. He has completed his Postdoctoral Fellow in Climate change and Livestock Production from University of Queensland, Australia. During his tenure as Scientist and as Senior Scientist Dr. Sejian is continuing his research in Climate change adaptation of Livestock to Sustain Production. Dr. Sejian holds the outstanding academic and research records. Dr. Sejian visited for 3 months to The Ohio State University, Columbus, USA to train on climate change and livestock production. Dr. Sejian edited a book to Springer Publisher, Germany on Environmental stresses and Amelioration in Livestock Production as Editor-in-Chief along with four other associate editors. In addition, Dr. Sejian is also serving as editorial board member in 18 international journals. Dr. Sejian is presently holding 3 research grants from NAIP, ICAR and DBT. He is also the course director for conducting a NAIP sponsored National Training Program on Climate change, Carbon Sequestration, and Carbon trading. Dr. Sejian is presently holding 25 international and national professional affiliation memberships such as International Society of Biometeorology (ISB), USA, International Brain Research Organization (IBRO), France, Livestock Emission and Abatement Research Network (LEARN), Newzealand and Society for Animal Physiologists in India (SAPI), Asian Council of Science Editors Network, UAE, South Asian Network for Development and Environmental Economics, and many others. Dr. Sejian holds the outstanding publication record within a span of five years with 47 research articles in national and international journals. Apart from this, Dr. Sejian authored 52 national and international book chapters, 91 invited lectures, 13 technical bulletins/manuals/book and 75 papers in National and International conferences.
