Dr. Basudeb Basu is currently working as Professor of Chemistry & Head at Department of Chemistry University of North Bengal, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, India. He is having 33 years teaching & research experience. He has published 72 research articles in journals, and 2 book chapters as author/co-author. He supervised 9 PhD students projects. He is working as Project Investigator for major research projects funded by DST and CSIR, New Delhi, and under CSIR & UGC Fellowships. He is also serving as peer reviewer for ACS, RSC, Wiley, Elsevier, Springer, Bentham etc. Dr. Basudeb Basu received honor includes Bronze Medal Award 2010 by Chemical Research Society of India, Silver Medal Award in M.Sc. (1st Class 2nd Position) University of North Bengal, Darjeeling, India, JRF/ SRF and Research Associate, 1979-1985: I. A. C. S., Calcutta, India, and Tetrahedron Letters Most Cited Paper 2003-06 Award by Elsevier Ltd. Oxford, UK. He also served as Visiting Professor at different foreign Universities.
