Biography

Dr. K. Natarajan is currently working as Emeritus Scientist (CSIR) at Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He obtained his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He also visited many countries for academic pursuits. His field of specialization includes Inorganic Chemistry, Coordination Chemistry, Organometallic Chemistry, Bioinorganic Chemistry, Catalysis, and Spectroscopy. Dr. K. Natarajan received honors includes first Rank in M. Sc. Degree, U.G.C. Research Associate ship Award, Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship, Germany, Senior Fulbright Fellowship, USA, and Tamilnadu State Scientist Award. He is professional member of Indian Science Congress Association, Indian Council of Chemists, and Indian Society of Analytical Scientists. He is also serving as reviewer for 12 journals. He is member of editor advisory/ editorial board in journal such as ANJAC Journal of Sciences, American Journal of Analytical Chemistry, and Current Advances in Analytical Chemistry. He supervised 50 PhD scholars and 46 M.phil students. He has published more than 500 research papers in Science Citation Indexed journals. He also participated in several international and national seminars/ conferences. He also delivered number of invited lectures in conferences and seminars. He has carried out a number of research projects funded by C.S.I.R. and D.S.T.
