Biography

Dr. Jay Prakash Verma is currently working as Assistant Professor in Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Botany from same University. He also completed 3 projects and now associates with 3 research projects as Co- Investigator. He also organized 5 seminars. He is member of Indian Society of Soil Science, New Delhi, and Indian Meteorological Survey of India, New Delhi. His area of research interest related to Well familiar with various modern Techniques and handling of different Equipments i.e PCR, Gel Electrophoresis, SDS PAGE Apparatus, Gel Documentation System, Lyophilizes, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Plant Growth Chamber, BOD Incubator, Centrifuge, pH Meter, Conductivity Meter, Flame Photometer, AAS etc. He also participated in 10 seminars and symposia. He is Technical Editors of Biotechnology, Journal of Applied Sciences, International Journal of Soil Science, Asian Journal of Biological Sciences and Bacteriology Journal. He is also serving as reviewer of Interdisciplinary Sciences, Computational Life Sciences, Journal of Agricultural Engineering and Biotechnology (JAEB). He has published (20) research papers in journals, (3) book chapters, (2) articles in conference proceeding, and (17) abstract in conferences contributed as author/co-author.
