Dr Muhammad Sohaib is Associate Professor in the Department of Medical Sciences of Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences. For past 17 years he has been involved in academics of MS Nuclear Medicine Programme and also has contributed in several other programmes like MS Medical Physics and MS Radiation & Medical Oncology. He has supervised 14 student research projects and has 17 research articles, 17 conference presentations, 34 abstracts, one book and 4 online chapters to his credit. Dr Sohaib is also experienced clinical physician in Nuclear Medicine. Highlights are working as consultant nuclear medicine at Kidney Centre, Rawalpindi (PK) and interpreted nearly 10,000 nuclear medicine scans including nearly 2000 renal transplant studies, working in Peadiatric Nuclear Medicine in Great Ormond Street Hospital, London (UK) Hi administrative experience includes Head, Department of Medical Sciences (DMS), PIEAS (April 2008 to March 2013) and independently managing department of Nuclear Medicine, Kidney Centre, Rawalpindi for 7 years. He has a good exposure to international community in the field of nuclear medicine. He has completed a six-month fellowship from Great Ormond Street Hospital, London, UK, short courses organized by IAEA in China and Philippines and has presented 12 research presentations in conferences abroad. He is also listed in editors and reviewers list in several international journals.
