Dr. Munir Ahmad holds a position of Assistant Professor at Department of Entomology, Pir Mehr Ali Shah, Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi and Consultant for Insect Pest Management at Hydroponics Project of Farmers Marketing (Pvt) Ltd. He is having 15 years of experience in Applied Entomology and Insecticide Resistance Management at Central Cotton Research Institute, Old Shujabad Road, Multan, teaching undergraduate courses at University College of Agriculture, Bahauddin Zakariya University and Helb Pesticide Company, Multan for pesticide sales and development works. He has completed his Ph.D. in Agricultural Entomology from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, Pakistan. He is managing editor for Asian Journal of Agriculture and Biology, and member of editorial board in Applied Sciences and Business Economics, and Academic Research Journals of Agricultural Science and reviewer for national and international journals. He successfully completed 5 research projects as principal investigator and co-investigator. He was received International Research Support Initiative Program for PhD studies, Higher Education Commission, Government of Pakistan. Dr. Munir has published 44 research articles in national and international journals, and 17 national and international presentations as author/co-author. He has supervised 17 MSc and supervising 5 PhD students thesis.
