Biography

Dr. Kashif Riaz is currently working as Assistant Professor, Plant Pathology University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. He has completed his PhD in Biology (Microbial Ecology), University of Paris XI, Orsay, France and Masters in Plant Cell and Molecular Biology, Louis Pasteur University Strasbourg, France. He is having 10 years research experience and 4 years teaching experience. He supervised 11 M.Phil students thesis and currently supervising 8 M.Phil and 2 PhD students. He also completed 5 research projects as principal investigator, co-investigator and team member funded by different national and international agencies. He has published 6 research articles in journals as well as 5 abstracts in international conference. His area of interest focuses on Sustainable Agriculture, Metagenomics, Bacterial Quorum Sensing, and Quorum Quenching & Nitrogen Fixation.
