Biography

Dr. Kashif Zia is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Software Engineering Department at Bahria University Islamabad, Pakistan. He has obtained his PhD from Institute for Pervasive Computing, Johannes Kelper University in Linz, Austria. Dr. Zia research interests revolve around socio-technical systems, particularly focusing on crowd dynamics and simulation. His PhD work is related with large-scale agent based modeling and analysis of socio-technical systems utilizing parallel and distributed simulation.
