I,Muhammad Bilal Khan Niazi was born on 5th March, 1985 in Multan, Pakistan. I finished my high school studies from F.G. Public School Mangla cantt in 2000. In 2007, I received the Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from NFC Institute of Engineering & Fertilizer Research, Faisalabad, the Pakistan. In 2006, I successfully undertook a nationwide Graduate Record Examination test, which resulted in his selection for the overseas “Master leading to PhD” scholarship by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. I did my Master degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Groningen in 2009. I continued my studies there and did PhD research in group “Product Technology” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. A. A. Broekhuis. During last 4 years, hid work was entirely focused on the production of plasticized thermoplastic starch (TPS) by spray drying. I used different types of starches and plasticizers to produce a biodegradable TPS packaging materials via solution spray drying and compression molding. After Successful completion of my PhD studies on 12, April 2013, I joined NUST as Assistant Professor at SCME, Department of Chemical Engineering on 8, May, 2013. So far, i have published 15 journal publication in well known international journals.
