Biography

Dr Habib Ali (PhD in Agricultural Entomology and Insect Pest Control) was born in Okara, Punjab, Pakistan. He is authors of more than 47 international research publication (accumulative impact factor is more than 130) in well-reputed Journals (Frontier in Microbiology, Molecular phylogenetic and Evolutions, Insects, Journal of Economic Entomology, Microbial Pathogenesis etc.) and 02 Book chapters publication . On his excellent academic and research work, he got best international student of the year and best thesis award in 2018. He also attended many international conferances/ symposium/workshops, educational and faculty trainings and won reserch projects. Moreover, he served as Assistant Professor at University of Agriculture Faisalabad and since July, 2020 working as a Lecturer at Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology, Pakistan. Meanwhile, he is working voluntarily as editor and reviewer to many national and international journals.
His main areas of research are Agricultural entomology includes Insect Ecology, Insect Biodiversity, Crop pests/ invasive species such as Red Palm weevil, Coconut hispine beetle, Hispid leaf beetle, Pyrosequencing, genomics, Bioinformatics (R program) Bacteria-host interactions, Wolbachia pipientis, Microbial symbiosis, Bio-pesticides, Biocontrol agent and Integrated Pest Management.
