Biography

Dr. Muhammad Safdar is Lecturer in the Department of Breeding and Genetics, Faculty of Animal Production and Technology, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore–Pakistan since 30 November, 2018. He has completed his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 from University of Veterinary and Animal Science, Lahore. Dr. Muhammad Safdar has received his Master degree in Genetics and Bioengineering, from Genetics department, Fatih University, Istanbul, Turkey.

In his Master's research, he has worked on Molecular Genetics of animals. The main aim of his research was to Development of novel techniques for identification of animal species in food and feed samples. Moreover Dr. Safdar expertise in the development of multiplexes PCR for analysis of animal feeds. He has written 20 peer reviewed research papers in well-known scientific journals with good impact factor. Dr. Safdar has also presented his scientific work in 32 national and international conferences worldwide. So far, he has produced around 10 M.Sc and 08 MS students under his supervision. Moreover, Dr. Safdar is a PhD scholar at Gaziantep University, Gaziantep, Turkey.
