Biography

Dr. Monther Mohumad Yuesef Tahat is currently working as Lecturer at University of Jordan, Jordan. He has completed his Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from University of Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. He is also leading 4 research projects. His main area of research interest focuses on Mycorrhizal Fungi as bio-control agents against plant diseases (fungi, nematode, bacteria, spiroplasma, phytoplasma), mycorrhizal fungi culturing and manipulation in large scale, management of soil-borne disease using beneficial microbes (AMF, Trichoderma spp, Actinomycets, PGPR), mycorrhizal fungi and medication plants relationship, AMF as a bio-fertilizers for poor soil, plant soil and microbe interactions. He is member of Agricultural Engineer Association, and Malaysian Society for Microbiology. He has published 15 articles in journals as author/co-author.
