Dr. Omar Mohammad Atrooz is currently working as Professor and Dean of Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mutah University, Jordan. He has completed his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Moscow State Academy of Fine Chemical Technology, Russia. Previously he was appointed as Academic advisor of Clinical Laboratory Sciences Department, Najran University, Head of Medical Laboratories Department, Collage of Health Sciences/Abha- Saudi Arabia, Head of Medical Sciences Department at Al-Isra University, and Head of the Quality Control & Research Department at Diamond Company/Jordan. He is member of editorial board in Mutah Magazine, and reviewer of the Academic Promotion of King Abdulaziz University, and Journal of Food Biochemistry. He is supervising the training medical laboratories students in various governmental and educational hospitals in Jordan and Saudi Arabia. His main area of research interest focuses on Phyto-Biochemical Studies, Enzymological Studies, Biochemical studies on Maillard Reaction Products, Biochemical-Clinical studies, Nanotechnology, Industrial Medicinal Environmental Studies, and Metabolomics and Nutrigenomics. He is member of Metabolomics Society, Biochemistry Professionals Social Network, Jordanian Association of Medical Sciences, and The National Society for Phenylketonuria, The Science Advisory Board, International Professors Project, China Pharma Biotech Professors Network, and Environmental Science student Group-International Professors Projects. He has published 18 research articles in journals and 11 conference papers contributed as author/co-author.
