Biography

Dr. Amjad Daifalla Al-Nasser is currently working as Professor of Applied Statistics, Director of Quality Assurance & Institutional Research Unit, Al Falah University, Dubai, UAE and Professor at Department of Statistics, Yarmouk University, Jordan. Previously he was appointed as Lecturer, Department of Mathematics, Sedyya College, Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia, Assistant Professor at KEMNS International Islamic University Malaysia, and Associate Professor at College of Business Administration, University of Dubai. His main area of research interest focuses on Generalized Maximum Entropy, Ranked Set Sampling, Measurement Error Models, Acceptance Sampling Plans, Directional Data Analysis, and Statistical Control Charts. Dr. Amjad received honors includes excellence Research Award from University of Dubai. Dubai. UAE, selected for inclusion in 10th Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, and excellent Student Award for Master Degree, Yarmouk University, and selected one of the Leading Scientists of the World, International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England. He is member of International Statistical Institute, Bernoulli Society, Netherland, Jordanian Mathematical Society, Strategic Plan Committee, at University level, Yarmouk University, and member of Quality Assurance Counsel, at University level, Yarmouk University. He has published 70 research articles in journals, 3 technical reports, and 6 books contributed as author/co-author. He successfully supervised 22 MSc students. He is founding editor for Electronic Journal of Applied Statistical Analysis, and Electronic Journal of Applied Statistical Analysis and reviewer for more than 30 journals.
