Dr. Khaled Husein Ahmad Abu-Elteen holds a position of Professor at The Hashemite University- Jordan. He has completed his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Microbiology from Loughborough University of Technology, U.K. He also appointed as Technician, and Research Assistant at Kuwait University, Assistant Professor at Zarqa National College-Jordan, and Al-Zaytoonah Private University-Jordan, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at The Hashemite University- Jordan, and Professor at Zarqa Private University. He supervised and co-supervised number of graduate students. He also prepared 3 laboratory manuals. He is professional member of Society for General Microbiology, U.K, Institute of Biology (M.I.Biol), U.K, fellow of the Royal Microscopical Society U.K, member of Kuwait Environmental Protection Society, and Jordanian Society for Biological Sciences. His current area of research interest lies on various aspects related to the Mechanism of Pathogenicity of Candida Albicans and other Yeasts, Mode of action of anti-microbial agents, especially growth and physiology, Biochemistry of microbial lipids and sterols, Detection and determination of dermatophytes, and Keratinophilic Fungi from various sources. He successfully completed number of research projects as Principal Investigator and Co-investigator funded by different institutes. He is also member of editorial board in number of journals. He has published 56 research articles in journals, 8 book chapters, 19 papers in national and international conferences contributed as author/co-author.
