Dr. Mohamed F. Yassin is currently working as Research Scientist of Air Quality Program, Environment & Life Sciences Center, Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR), Kuwait. He obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from University of Tokyo, Japan. His working experience includes appointed as Demonstrator, Assistant Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor at Assiut University, Egypt, Visiting Researcher at Tokyo Polytechnic University, Japan, and Czech Technical University, Prague, Czech. His area of research interest focuses on Outdoor Air Quality Modeling and Assessment, Indoor Air Quality, Numerical Simulation (CFD model), Atmospheric Diffusion, Air Pollution Meteorology, Modeling of micro-scale flow problems, Physical Simulation (Wind tunnel modeling), Noise Pollution, Environmental Statistics, and Wind Engineering. He successfully completed 12 research projects funded by different agencies. He has supervised 14 students thesis. He has published 1 book, 31 research articles in journals, and 42 proceeding and conference presentations. He is also acting as Associate Editor for International Journal of Environmental Science and Technology, International Journal in Environmental Science and Toxicology, Mindanao Journal of Science and Technology-Mindanao University of Science and Technology, Philippines and member of editorial board in Journal of Environmental Conservation Research, and Current Environmental Engineering. He is also serving as referee for number of International Books & Journals. He also participated in number of conferences and annual meeting.
