Biography

Dr. Raul Rabinovici is currently working as an Associate Professor at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Ben- Gurion University of The Negev, Beer- Sheva, Israel since 2002. He has completed his PhD in Department of Electric and Computer Engineering from Ben- Gurion University of The Negev, Beer- Sheva, Israel. Further into his services, he is a Member of the International Steering Committee of the OPTIM Conference (biannual), The International Conference on Optimization of Electric and Electronic Equipment, Brasov, Romania, Chairman of the Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in Israel, Beer- Sheva and South Branch, member of the Professional Committee, CIGRE Israel, IEEE, India Appl, Power Systems, Magnetics, Association of Engineers, Architects, and Graduates of Technological Sciences in Israel (Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), Israeli Society of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He is editorial board member of IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, Journal of Electrical Engineering, Journal of Power and Energy Engineering, Scientific Research Publishing as well as Ad-hoc reviewer of many journals. He has mentored (7) PhD students as well as (45) masters level students. He has received many awards including, Honors, Citation Awards (including during studies), Year-granting institution name of award, Awards for distinguished results in studies, Polytechnic Institute “Gh. Asachi”, The Faculty of Electro techniques, Jassy, Romania, Award for distinguished results in Ph. D. studies accorded by Ben- Gurion University of The Negev, Beer- Sheva, Israel and Makhteshim Chemical Plants Ltd., Beer- Sheva, Israel in memory of Masha and Zvi Shariv of blessed memory, travel grant accorded by IEEE Mag. Society to attend INTERMAG87 Conference Tokyo, Japan. He has published one book as well as participated in 100 conferences. He has published (72) articles in peer reviewed journals as well as (37) scientific reports and (3) patents. He has awarded grant for his research work.
