Biography

Dr. Gajendra Sharma has completed his PhD in Information Systems Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, China. He received the degree of Masters of Engineering in Electronics and Communication in 1997 from Moscow University of Telecommunication and Information Technology, Russia. During the following years, he was employed in different organizations in Nepal as a Professional Engineer. He had also worked in a managerial and academic position in different companies and engineering institutions. He served as a Chief of Engineering Campus in Nepal for six years from 2005 to 2011. He has been engaged in academic activities more than twenty years. His research and teaching interest is focused on Information Systems and Technology. He worked in Liaoning Technical University, China as an Associate Professor from 2011-2014. In the meantime, he has been working in Kathmandu University, Nepal. He has been serving as reviewer/editor in different IT related journals. He has more than 100 publications in internal journals and conference proceedings as author/co-author.
