Dr. Keivan Zandi is currently working as Associate Professor at University Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He obtained his Ph.D. in Virology from Tarbiat Modares University, Iran. His area of research interest related to Antiviral Research (Intracellular and Molecular Mechanism Study), Molecular Virology, and Natural Products for Drug Discovery, Infectious Disease Molecular Epidemiology, and Cancer Research (Intracellular and Molecular Mechanism Study). He successfully completed 17 research projects as Principal Investigator. He is also serving as member of editorial board and reviewer for many journals. He is member of scientific societies and committees such as Iranian Society for virology, International Society for Medicinal Plants, International Society for Infectious Diseases, Asian Pacific Virology Society, International Society for Antiviral Research, European Society for Clinical Virology, and Scientific committee member for the first, second, third and fourth Iranian Virology Congress, Scientific Advisory Board Member for the First International Symposium on Human Vector-Borne Diseases December 2013, Hawaii, USA, and Organizing Committee Member for the Pharmacognosy 2014 Conference, Beijing, China. He has published 54 research articles in journals, 8 patents and 36 papers in conferences contributed as author/co-author.
