Biography

Mr. Hiua Daraei is currently working as Lecturer at Health Department, Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences, Pasdaran Street, Sanandaj, Iran. He has completed his M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry from Razi University, Iran. He is member of Iranian Society of Chemistry, and Young Researchers Club, Sanandaj Branch, Islamic Azad University, Sanandaj, Iran. He has published 22 research articles in journals, 1 book, and 9 papers in conferences. He successfully completed 9 research projects as project leader and co-applicant. His main area of research interest related to Novel Approaches for Water and Wastewater Analysis and Treatment, Application of Chemometrics in developing of water and waste water analysis approaches, Treatment methods including Fenton, Electrocoagulation, Membrane, Adsorption, Nano-Technology, Application of Chemometrics in QSAR/QSPR studies, Application of Artificial Neural Network (ANN), Genetic Algorithm (GA), and Adaptive Network-based Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS), Application of GIS and Image Processing in Environmental Chemistry, Application of Molecular Imprinted Polymer, Nicked Eye and Optical Sensors in Environmental Analysis, and Application of GIS and Image Processing in Environmental Chemistry. He was the top researcher of Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences in 2012 and 2014, rank 2 in Analytical Chemistry.
