Biography
Dr. Greg Frank Naterer is currently working as Dean and Professor, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, Memorial University, and Dean of Engineering and Applied Science, Memorial University of Newfoundland. He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of Waterloo in 1995. His working experience includes, worked as System Analyst at IBM Canada, Toronto, Instructor Term Appointment at University of New Brunswick, Assistant Professor at Lakehead University, Assistant Professor/Associate Professor /Professor at University of Manitoba, Director of Research and Graduate Programs, Professor, and Associate Dean at UOIT. His area of research interest related to Energy Systems, Heat Transfer and Multiphase Flows, Hydrogen Production with Water Splitting Technologies, Energy Conversion, Entropy and the Second Law of Thermodynamics, Microfluidics and Nanotechnology for Advanced Energy Systems. He is Professional member of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador, Professional Engineers of Ontario, Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Manitoba, Canadian Nuclear Society, Engineering Institute of Canada, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Associate Fellow, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and fellow of Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Greg Frank received honors includes, EIC Julian C. Smith Medal, CSME Jules Stachiewicz Medal, CNS Innovative Achievement Award, IAHE Best Paper Award, 3rd International Conference on Hydrogen Production, Distinguished Alumni Award, Service Award, Global Conference on Global Warming, ASME Best Paper Award and many others. He is member of editorial board in number of journals. He is also serving as reviewer of more than 42 journals, and reviewer of many conference papers,Research Grants and books. He has 256 publications in journals, 4 books, 31 invited sections/chapter in book, 250 papers in conferences as author/co-author. He supervised 58 Graduate, 27 Undergraduate students, 52 Research Assistant, 14 Post doctoral Researchers and 56 External Examiners.
