Biography

Dr. Ana Teresa Lima is currently working as Research Associate at Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of Waterloo, Canada. She obtained her PhD in Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Sciences and Technology, New University of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal. Her research interest focuses on several issues such as Remediation of Soil through Electro-kinetics and combination of Techniques, Soil Processes and Geochemical Reactions from Artic to Arid, Urban Ecohydrology: the Soil-Waste-Water Nexus, Anthropogenic P and N loadings into the Mediterranean Sea, Coastal Acidification and the role of Submarine Groundwater Discharge, The role of Flood Pulsing in Wetland Biogeochemistry. She has published 19 papers in ISI journals and editorial board member of two journals like Frontiers in Environmental Science and New Water Policy and Practice. She also served as co-editor of a special issue.
