Biography
Prof. Dr. SAMEEH ABDEL-KADER MANSOUR–Emeritus Professor of Pesticide Chemistry & Environmental Toxicolgy, and the founder of Environmental Toxicology Research Unit (ETRU) which he established it at NRC, Egypt since 1986. He was the Ex Head of Pesticide Chemistry & Toxicology Department, and currently he is the President of National Committee of Toxicology, Academy of Scientific Research & Technology (ASRT), and the Official Representative of Egypt at IUTOX. The major research activities of Prof. Mansour’s school are concerned with the following disciplines: Mammalian Toxicology - Pesticide Residues - Biological Indicators – Eco-Friendly Biopesticides - Environmental Remediation. The up-to-date outcome of Prof. Mansour in the international publications accounts to over 200 scientific research articles, 33 invited plenary lectures in international conferences, and 16 book chapters published by Springer, Whiley, Taylor & Francis, Pennsylvania Academy of Sciences and SOT, USA. Prof. Mansour has been awarded several prizes and recognized in the Book “History of IUTOX, 1977-2007" for his distictive contribution to the Toxicology World Community. In 2015, Prof. Mansour received the IUTOX Award in recognition to his creation of the “Egypt Cup - Together for Human & Environmental welfare- the 20’s Anneversary”.
