Dr. Saad Zakaria Mohammed Khedr is currently working as Professor of Invertebrate, Marine Biology, Marine Science Department at Suez Canal University. His prior work experience includes Assistant Professor and Head of Marine Science Department, Demonstrator, Lecturer and Assistant Lecturer of Invertebrate and Marine Biology Department at Suez Canal University, Assistant Researcher of Invertebrates and Marine Biology at Marine Biology Department, Liverpool University, UK , Assistant Professor of Invertebrate, Marine Ecology and benthos at Marine Science Department, Qatar University, Qatar. He completed his PhD in the field of Benthos and Bivalve Culture from Liverpool University in 1987, and M.Sc in the field of Marine Biology from the Suez Canal University in1982, Diploma in Marine Biology from the Alexandria University in 1979, and B.Sc in the field Zoology from Cairo University in1977. Dr. Saad completed many projects and also attended many conferences in different foreign countries. Dr. Saad Zakaria is also member of different journals including Zoology Society of Egypt, Japanese Bulletin of Fisheries and Aquaculture, World Aquaculture Society, Germany- Egyptian Society of Biology, English- Egyptian Society of Biology, Supreme Council of Oceanography and Fisheries. He has published 57 articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals. He is also supervising PhD and MSc students thesis.
