Biography
Dr. Hossam Hassan Hussein Abbas holds a position of Professor, and Head of Hydrobiology Department, Veterinary Research Division, National Research Center. He has completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Physiology from Cairo University, Egypt. He is a member of many scientific societies such as The Egyptian German Society of Zoology, The Egyptian Society of Aquaculture, The Union of Arab Biologists Society, Syndicate of Scientific professions, Agricultural Research Center Society, Society of Physiological Sciences and their Applications, Egyptian Veterinary Medical Association, and Egyptian Agribusiness Association. He is technical editor for Pakistan Journal of Biological Sciences (PJBS). He also participated in more than 90 conference, and symposium. He has published 40 research articles in journals, 1 patent as author/co-author. He is also serving as member of editorial board and reviewer for number of journals. He also contributed in number of sponsored research projects.
