Biography
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Morsi. M Ahmed; Prof. of Genetics; Molecular Biology; Cloning & Biotechnology; my work from 1991- 2013 was to do a lot of publications in field of Genetics; Molecular biology; molecular markers; genetic engineering and biotechnology or recombinant of DNA in bacteria, virus; plants, animals and molecular biology my practical and theoretically knowledge includes transformation, gene transfer, PCR, RT-PCR, sequencing, SDS-PEG for protein. I worked from 1991-1999 in the National Research Center (NRC) Genetic Engineering Division. I had a postdoctoral fellowship for six months at the Alberta Research Council (ARC) Alberta, Canada in 2004. I worked from 2000 to 2007 in the City for Scientific Research and Technological Application, Genetic Engineering Research and biotechnology Institute (GEBRI), Alexandria, Egypt. I had a postdoctoral fellowship for 2 years at the Shantou medical college; China; from 2007 to 2009 on field molecular cloning and biotechnology, Explore the mechanism for replication and expression of hepatitis B virus genes in early embryonic cells. Now, I am working Biological Science Dept.; Genomic and Biotechnology section; Faculty of Sciences, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I have included my B.sc, M.Sc and Ph.D, specific to Sciences (Genetics, and Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology and Molecular biology), I wrote my papers were two papers on filed transformation and gene transfer from my M.Sc and Ph.D and about more than 28 published papers on Molecular Biology, Biotechnology and Molecular Markers. Besides my work, I am also quite good at using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, and more advance Internet tools like sequence alignment and designing primers.
