Biography
Dr. Atef Mohamed Khedr Nassar is currently working as Assistant Professor of Plant Protection Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Damanhour University, Damanhour, Beheira, Egypt. He obtained his Ph.D. in Plant Biology from McGill University, Canada. His working experience includes working as Teaching Assistant at Alexandria University, Egypt, and Post Doctoral Fellow/Research Associate/Research Assistant/Teaching Assistant at McGill University, Canada. He is a professional member of the American Society of Metabolomics, the Canadian Society of Plant Physiologists, the Photochemical Society of North America, the American Society of Plant Biologists, and the Egyptian Society of Pest Control and Environmental Protection. He is also a member of the editorial board in peer review journals. He is also serving as a reviewer for international journals. He also received NSERC Industry Post-Doctoral Fellowship, MITACS Accelerate Post-Doctoral Internship, Canadian Society of Plant Physiologists travel award, and Ph.D. Scholarship from the Egyptian Government. He has published (7) articles in refereed journals, (2) book and book chapters, Dissertation Books, and many papers in national and international conferences contributed as author/co-author.
