Biography
Dr. Youssef Abdelwahab Youssef Attia is currently working as Professor at Arid Land Agriculture Dept, Faculty of Meteorology, Environment and Arid Land Agriculture, King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia and Professor of Poultry Production and Nutrition and Vice Dean for Community Development and Environmental Affairs, Faculty of Agriculture, Damanhour University, Damanhour, Egypt. He has completed his Ph.D. in Poultry Nutrition from Technische Universitat Munchen, Germany. Previously he was appointed as Assistant Researcher and Associate Researcher in Department of Poultry Nutrition, Animal Production Research Institute, Agricultural Research Centre, Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and Associate Professor and Professor at Alexandria University. He is member of World Poultry Science Society, German branch, Egyptian Poultry Science Society, Egyptian Animal Science Society, Egyptian Animal Nutrition and Feeding Society and Egyptian Rabbits Science Society. He also attended number of national and international conferences. He also completed 3 research projects as principal investigator and member of project. He is also serving as member of editorial board and reviewer for number of journals. He has supervised several PhD and Masters level students. He has published 4 books and 178 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author. Dr. Youssef Abdelwahab received honors includes NARP scholarship (USAID funded project) from Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation at the University of Georgia, Recognition Certificate from the Ministry of Agriculture and Land reclamation for his role as a PI for increasing and improving feedstuffs in poultry diets project, Egyptian Poultry Science Society Prize for the best Poultry research, Recognition by Marquis whos who in the world, 17th edition and many others.
