Biography

Dr. Essien Archibong Okon is currently working as Professor at Cross River University of Technology, Nigeria. He obtained his Ph.D. in Plant Genetics and Biotechnology from International (Russian) Scientific Research Institute of Rice, Russia. He has published 50 research articles in national and international journals contributed as author/co-author. He is associate member of NIST (ANIST), Genetics Society of Nigeria (GSN), and Biopesticides Society of Nigeria (BSN). Current research interests include; Plant Breeding & Biotechnology, Genetic Diversity Studies. Plant Genetic Resources (PGR) Management, Bioinformatics and Biometric Genetics. etc.
