Biography
Dr. Augustine Omoike is currently working as Associate Professor at Bells University of Technology, Nigeria. He obtained his Ph.D. in Fisheries Management from University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. His main area of interest focuses on Fisheries Management, Animal Health, Fish Nutrition, Fisheries Law, and Fish Production. He has 26 publications in journals as author/co-author. He has worked with renowned Professors, Profs A.E. Falaye, Faturoti, E. K Ajani and others. He won awards to attend Academic Conferences at a. World Fisheries Congress, Yokohama Japan, Oct 19 to 24, 2008. b. Chinese Govt. Full Sponsorship “Training College Teachers of African English-speaking Countries” Seminar by Northeast Normal University, China, November 25th – December 15th, 2009 and c. International Symposium on Tilapia in Aquaculture, Jerusalem, Israel. Oct 5th to 12th, 2013. members of professional bodies of a. Fisheries Society of Nigeria (FISON)and b.
