Biography
Dr. Juan Camilo Restrepo Lopez is currently working as Assistant Professor at Universidad del Norte (Uninorte) (Barranquilla, Colombia). He obtained his Ph.D. in Marine Science from same University in 2014. In past he worked as Assistant Researcher at Eafit University (Medellin, Colombia), Researcher and Project Manager at Pacific Centre for Contamination Control (Tumaco, Colombia), and Oceanographic and Hydrographic Research Center (Cartagena, Colombia). He is also working on number of projects as Co-Researcher and receives many grants for his research work. He is professional member of Association Latinoamericana de Investigadores de Ciencias del Mar (ALICMAR) (Latin American Association of Marine Sciences Researchers). He is also member of National Technical Committee of Antarctic Affairs Colombia, and National Center for Marine and Coastal Data Interchange CENIMARC (Colombia). He is also serving as Hydrological Science Journal (Taylor & Francis), Science of the Total Environment (Elsevier). He has published 21 articles in journals, 11 chapters in book, as well as 18 papers in professional meetings as author/co-author.
