Biography

Dr. Santiago Arango Aramburo is an Associate Professor at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Medellin. He obtained his PhD in System Dynamics Group from University of Bergen, Norway in 2006. His working experience includes, worked as Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant at University of Bergen, Guest Visitor at University of Lugano, Switzerland for several years, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, University of Amsterdam, Netherlands, and Sir John Cass Business School, London, Teacher Assistant at Norwegian Technical and Natural Science University, Research Affiliate at University of Lugano, Switzerland. He is also serving as reviewer in number of journals such as Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Medellin, Ecological Economics, Energy Policy, Journal of Latin-American Studies, DYNA, UIS, and IEEE. He has published 4 books and 7 book chapters, as well as 23 articles in national and international journals, and 38 papers in national and international conferences contributed as author/co-author. He supervised 3 PhD and 14 Masters thesis.
