Biography

Dr. Ramzy Elneel is an academician and researcher currently working as an assistant professor in Mechanical Engineering Department at Faculty of Engineering – Red Sea University (Sudan). He received his PhD degree from Department of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia in January 2014, and received his Master degree of Energy Engineering from Faculty of Graduate Studies, Khartoum University, Sudan in 2008, while he received his BSc. Degree (hon) from Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Nile Valley University, Sudan in 2001. He served as a teaching assistant from 2003 to 2007 in both Nile Valley University and Red Sea University. Later, he served as lecturer from 2008 to 2013 in Mechanical Engineering Department, Red Sea University. In addition and during his PhD study he worked as Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) under the project: Development of a Novel Swirling Fluidization Technology for Bio-Crude Refining. Currently, and as an academic staff, he is the head of department of mechanical engineering as well as the coordinator of MSc program in Energy and Power Systems Management. As a researcher he is intimately familiar with the field of thermo-fluid, energy and alternative energy systems and has been able to publish a number of journal and conference articles. Recently, and as head of department (HOD) of Mechanical Engineering Department, he has been involved in designing a master program in Energy and Power Systems Management.
