Biography
Dr. John Ejiet Wasige is Ecosystem Modeler. Currently he is working as Researcher Fellow at Department of Physical Georgraphy, Lund University, Sweden and National Research Organization (NARO), Uganda. He has obtained his Ph.D. in Soil Science from University of Twente, The Netherlands. He has profound experience in systems analysis to explore future scenarios for land use with a focus on food production and sustainable environmental management. His research projects have focused on resolving large-scale resource and sustainability concerns through the integration of geospatial and social sciences. Previously he was appointed as Agriculture Officer at Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industries and Fisheries, and Agriculture Officer, Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industries and Fisheries. He also worked on 9 research projects as Consultant and Team Leader. He has published 20 research articles in journals and conference contributed as author/co-author. His area of expertise includes Hydrology and Spatial Environmental Quality Expert.
