Biography

Dr. Nicholas Apergis is currently working as Professor at Northumbria University England. He obtained his PhD in Macroeconomics Fordham University, New York, USA in 1992. In past he worked as Visiting Research Professor at Curtin University, Professor at University of Piraeus, State University of New York at New Paltz, and Fordham University and Manhattan College, and Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor at University of Macedonia Greece. His area of research interest related to Applied Macroeconomics and Macro Finance, Open Economy, Macroeconomics. He has published 237 articles in journals, 1 Monograph, 53 articles in conferences as author/co-author. He is also member of editorial board in number of journals. He is also serving as referee in number of journals. He is professional member of American Economic Association, Atlantic Economic Association, European Economic Association, Academy of Economics and Finance, Greek Financial Association, and Founder of the European-Asian Economics and Finance Association.
