Biography

Dr. Damigos G. Dimitris is currently working as Associate Professor in Environmental Economics and Management, School of Mining Engineering & Metallurgy, National Technical University of Athens, Greece. He obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Economics from same University in 2001. His major field of interest focuses on Environmental Economics, Mineral Economics, Environmental Management, Financial and Cost-Benefit Analysis, Risk Assessment and Management. In past he worked as Lecturer and Assistant Professor at University of Athens, Greece. He also participated in more than 40 research projects in the fields of Environmental Economics, Mineral Economics, Financial and Cost Benefit Analyses, Risk Assessment and Management. He has published more than 102 articles in journals 1 monograph, 1 chapter in collective volume, 24 presentations in conferences contributed as author/co-author. He is also serving as referee in number of journals. He is member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, the Hellenic Solid Waste Management Association, and the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists.
