Biography

Dr. Basil K. Papadopoulos is currently working as Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at the Democritus University of Thrace, Section of Mathematics and Department of Civil Engineering, Greece. He received Diploma of four years of Mathematics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and his Ph.D. from the Democritus University of Thrace, Ph.D sponsored with a scholarship by the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY). His area of research interest includes Point-Set Topology, Mathematical Modeling and Fuzzy Logic with Applications in Engineering, Statistics and Theory of Economics & Finance. He has published over 80 papers and books in various journals, in all the above topics, both as a single author and as co-author.
