Biography

Dr.ir. Nikos Kalogeras is currently working as Assistant Professor at Marketing, Marketing-Finance Research Lab, Department of Marketing & Supply Chain Management & Finance, School of Business & Economics(SBE), Maastricht University Maastricht, the Netherlands, and Co-director of the Marketing-Finance Research Lab & MSc program in Marketing-Finance, Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management & Department of Finance, SBE/UM, Maastricht, NL/EU. He obtained his PhD in Marketing & Consumer Behavior from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign (UIUC). His research interest focused on several issues such as Agribusiness Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Food Product/Service Innovation, Financial Services Innovation (futures and options design and development), Entrepreneurship & Behavioral Economics; Service Co-creation & Management, Cooperative Entrepreneurship, Organizational Innovation, Sustainable and Informed Entrepreneurship. He is also working as Research Alumni at Maastricht University Netherlands, Research Fellow at Cass Business School London, and in Maastricht University, Senior Research Fellow at Technical University of Crete, Adjunct Professor in Agribusiness Marketing-Finance & Decision Sciences, Interim Research Coordinator, Department of Business Economics & Management, Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (MAICh), and International Center for Advanced Mediterranean Studies (CIHEAM), Paris, France. He has published 20 articles in journals, 3 books, 10 chapters in book contribute as writer/co-writer. He is professional member of American Agricultural Economics Association (AAEA), Association of Consumer Research (ACR), European Agricultural Economics Association (EAAE), European Finance Association (EFA), European Marketing Academy (EMAC), European Research Network for Agricultural Cooperatives (ERNAC), Hellenic Operational Research Society (HELORS –4E), Economic Chamber of Greece, Operational Research & Management Science (INFORMS). He supervised 1 MSc student, 3 PhD and 2 MSc currently in his supervision.
