Biography

Dr. Edoardo Bucchignani is currently working as Research Scientist at the “Meteo Systems and Instrumentation Lab” CIRA - Team Leader of Research Unit “Regional Models” CMCC. He obtained his PhD in Applied and Theoretical Mmechanics from University “La Sapienza”, Roma, (Italy) in 1997. His working experience includes, worked as Senior Research Scientist at the Supercomputing and Applied Meteorology, Senior Researcher in the Computational Mechanics Lab CIRA., Researcher in the project World Bank NIGERIA, Responsible of Research Activity, Team leader of Research Unit “Regional Climate Simulations”, Impact on Soil and Coasts Division, CMCC. He is member of following scientific committees, European Consortium CLM Community, Organizing Committee of CLM Assembly, and Italian Society for Climate Sciences. He has published 28 articles in journals and, 2 in conferences.
