Biography

Dr. Vidal Haddad Junior is currently working as Associate Professor of the Department of Dermatology, Botucatu Medical School-Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) - Sao Paulo State- Brazil. He has completed his Ph.D. in Dermatology from Federal University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. He also worked as Visiting Professor at Universidade Estadual Paulista, Medical contributor to the Hospital Vital Brazil, Post-Graduate Professor at the Department of Zoology, Institute of Biosciences of UNESP. He is also serving as member of Brazilian Society of Dermatology, Regional Society of Sao Paulo, Scientific Committee and the Department of Infectious Diseases of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology, full member of Brazilian Society of Leprology, Wilderness Medicine Society, Brazilian Society of Ichthyology, and Brazilian Society of Tropical Medicine. He is acting as reviewer for Brazilian Annals of Dermatology, the Society publication and Wilderness and Environmental Medicine. Dr. Vidal received honors includes Carlos Chagas Award of the National Academy of Medicine for the best scientific work, Best Poster Award of the VII Brazilian Congress of Leprosy, Best Poster Award, Investigative work Award of the 59th Brazilian Congress of Dermatology, and many others. He has published 8 articles/book chapters, 63 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author.
