Biography
Dr. Sharifah Md Yasin is currently working as Senior Lecturer at Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. She has completed her Ph.D. in Computer Security from same University. She is member of Malaysia Security for Cryptology Research (MSCR), Social Welfare Club (KKS), Faculty Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM), Persatuan Pegawai Akademik (PPA), Universiti Putra Malaysia, and Information Security Research Group for Faculty Computer Science and Information Technology, UPM. Her main area of research interest focuses on Elliptic Curve Cryptograpy (ECC), E-Learning, Computer Security, Security in Cloud Computing, and Security in wireless network. She supervised 2 PhD thesis, 4 Masters thesis, and 56 Bachelor students thesis. She has published 3 research articles in journals, and 1 proceeding as author/co-author. She presented 5 papers in conferences and seminars. She successfully completed 5 research projects as main researcher and co-researcher.
