Dr. Hasfalina Binti Che Man holds a position of Associate Professor at Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. She obtained her Ph.D. in Wastewater Treatment from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. Dr. Hasfalina received number of honors domestically including Excellent Teaching Award from Faculty of Engineering, UPM, Invited Speaker at University of Maejo, Chiang Mai, Thailand, and received 2 gold medals and 5 Bronze Medal from UPM. She has successfully supervised/co-supervised 14 MSc, 6 PhD and 25 undergraduate students. Her scientific activity is documented by over 35 full papers in journals, 1 book and 21 oral proceeding. She also completed 6 research projects as main researcher and co-researcher, and her research funded by different agencies. She is also serving as technical reviewer for number of journals. She is member of many scientific societies such as American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, Malaysian Water Association, Malaysian Society for Engineering and Technology, honorary secretary at Malaysian Society Agricultural Engineering, member of Institution of Chemical Engineers, The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM), graduate member of Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), and member of Association of Academician of UPM. She also participated in more than 90 conferences/ training.
