Biography
Dr. Shixiong Cao is a Professor at the College of Economics and Management, Beijing Forestry University, a Visiting Professor, College of Urban and Environmental Science, Northwest University, Washington. He obtained his Ph.D. in Farming System Management from College of Agronomy and Biotechnology, China Agricultural University in 2006. His research has focused on Institutional Economics, Ecological Restoration, Ecological Economics, Development Economics, and Environmental Policy, and has published more than 90 papers in national and international journals. He wrote book in Farming in Hilly Land (in Chinese) and published in 2001, he won four Science and Technology awards from the Government and Science and Practice in Ecology & Society Award in 2014, and his paper was selected for Faculty of 1000 Biology in 2009. He has taught the courses Ecological Economics and Environmental Policy, Paper Writing and Submission.
