Biography
I am a rice breeder and geneticist at Food Crops Research Institute, Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, P. R. China. My research fields include the genetic bases of rice, such as interspecific hybrid sterility, interspecific breeding for upland rice and japonica rice, and new gene discovery from the relatives of cultivated rice. Till now, 8 upland or irrigated rice cultivars were bred by my term, 12 new interspecific hybrid genes and 7 agronomic genes were found and published. I published 102 scientific papers including 6 papers with impact factor above 9 and 26 SCI papers as first or correspondence author.
