Dr. Wen Zhang is currently a full professor with more than 30 years of research and teaching experience and Director of the Institute of New Drug R & D and Chemical Biology at Zhejiang University of Technology. In 2001, he entered Professor Ohrui’s Lab of Tohoku University, Japan, working in the field of molecular design, synthesis and recognition for two years as a JSPS postdoctoral fellow. In 2003, he joined Professor Sugiyama’s Chemical Biology group of Kyoto University, Japan, as COE and JST research fellows working on biology and chemistry of polyamide-nucleic acids interaction for more than two years. In 2006, he moved to Mie R & D Center of Chemical Soft R & D Inc., Japan as a principal scientist working on organic molecule synthesis and bioactive screening, and nanomedicine. In 2010, he joined the College of Pharmacy at Zhejiang University of Technology, Hangzhou, China. In recent years, Dr. ZHANG has received a number of honors and awards, including Leading Talent of Huzhou South Taihu Lake Elite Plan in 2013, the Third-class Prize of Zhejiang Medicine and Health Award in 2013, the First-class Prize of Zhejiang Medicine and Health Award in 2015, the First-class Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress Award of Zhejiang Province in 2015, the Second-class Prize of Outstanding Scientific Research Achievements of Higher Education Institutions by Ministry of Education in 2015, the Third-class Prize of Science and Technology Award of CPCIF in 2015, Zhejiang Thousand Talents Program expert in 2015, and winner of Huzhou New Century 1112 Talent Project in 2016. To date, Dr. Zhang has published better papers as the first/corresponding author in excellent Journals including J Am Chem Soc，J Med Chem, Euro J Med Chem, Cancer Lett, etc.
