Biography

Dr. Ma Yongqing is working at Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Ministry of Water Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Northwest A&F University; Head of Ecological Test Station of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Chinese Academy of Sciences (Principle of Guyuan Field Teaching Base, Northwest A&F University). He obtained his PhD degree in Dryland Research Center from Tottori University in 1999. He is member of Plant Allelopathy Committee, China Society of Plant Protection, and Academic Degrees Committee, Institute of Soil and Water Conservation, Northwest A&F University. His working experience includes, worked at Center for Agricultural Resources Research, Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, and employed as Innovation Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor of Institute of Soil and Water Conservation Chinese Academy of Sciences, Post-doctoral and Invited Scientist at Tottori University, employed as Professor and Doctorate Supervisor of College of Natural Resources and Environment Northwest A&F University, and Visiting Professor of Research Center of Wild Plant Science, Utsunomiya University. He is also working on 4 research projects. He has published 175 research papers in international, domestic journals, symposium and conference proceedings, among them, 99 papers were published in international and domestic journals and 38 of them are included by Science Citation Indexed Journal (SCI). He also supervised 7 PhD, 18 Masters Students, and 18 Undergraduate students.
