Biography

Dr. Mostafizur Rahman is Professor in Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology, Faculty of Medicine, UKM, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia . He obtained his Ph.D. in Microbiology from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Haryana, India. In past he worked as Lecturer/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/ and Professor at Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. He also worked as Invited Professor in many universities. He supervised 50 MSc and 4 PhD students research work in discipline of Virology, Bacteriology and Immunology, 5 Ph.D. & 2 Master students in the Department of Medical Microbiology & Immunology currently in his supervision. He is also member of editorial board in number of scientific journals. He is member of following scientific societies, Bangladesh Society of Microbiologists, Indian Society of Virologists, Bangladesh Society of Animal Health, Agriculturists Forum of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Veterinary Association, and Bangladesh Society for Advancement of Sciences. He has published 34 articles in journals as author/co-author.
