Biography

Mohammed Burhan Uddin is a pharmaceutical scientist with a strong academic and professional background in analytical chemistry, regulatory affairs, and pharmaceutical research. He holds a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Science and Business from the City University of New York (CUNY), graduating with distinction. His industry experience spans leading pharmaceutical companies, including Renata Pharmaceuticals and Ziska Pharmaceuticals, as well as a full-time internship in CMC Regulatory Affairs at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. His research primarily focuses on oncology, with peer-reviewed publications in Medical Oncology and Pharmacological Research, particularly exploring the anticancer effects of bioactive compounds and molecular pathways such as PI3K-AKT-mTOR. Burhan has served as a manuscript reviewer for Frontiers in Oncology and Frontiers in Pharmacology, and holds certifications in Good Clinical Practice (CITI and NIDA), Responsible Conduct of Research, and GMP standards from the U.S. Pharmacopeia. He is also a CUNY Interfaith Fellow and co-founder of YSHH in Bangladesh, where he led health education initiatives.
